COMMUNITY FUNDRAISER – VOLUNTEERS

We are looking for volunteers to raise funds by collecting donations at events at local shops, markets, village shows and sports stadiums.

Working with our Volunteer Fundraising Committee and our Re-Homing Co-Ordinator, Community Fundraisers will help staff our stalls, engaging with the general public to encourage donations, sell merchandise, run various fundraising activities like raffles or tombolas and take part in bucket collections at sports events.

You can volunteer for a morning or afternoon or a couple of hours at a time.  Most events will take place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. You will need your own transport to attend.  No experience is necessary, as training will be given. You will need to have a can-do attitude, a friendly outgoing personality and a willingness to engage with members of the public.

If you are interested in this role, you will need to fill in an RSPCA Volunteer Application Form, with details of your relevant experience of caring for cats, and providing two referees for us to contact.  For a form, please contact our coordinator on 07842 434377 or email sophie.moran-barker@rspca.org.uk. You may be asked to attend an informal interview.
