Bert and Melissa
SEEKING A SPECIAL HOME FOR BERT AND MELISSA
Bert and Melissa are an 11 month old brother and sister duo with big hearts and an abundance of love to give.
Rescued last year along with their three siblings, they were found to be living alone outside as young kittens. Over the last few months, Bert and Melissa have had to overcome some medical issues, however they are finally ready to search for a very forever home.
Bert is affectionate, adventurous, playful, he has an absolute fear of missing out and loves to be involved in everything you do (we’d call him nosey, he disagrees ) He thrives on the company of his sister and his humans, loves to birdwatch and will never say no to a tasty treat!
Melissa is a sweet young lady who loves her tummy tickles, can be independent but is equally incredibly affectionate and will often come for a cuddle. She has an unusual fascination with water and loves looking out of the window, watching the world go by!
Both are full of energy and will happily come to greet you whenever you return home. We truly believe that they will make the most joyful addition to their new home.
Bert and Melissa need to be the only pets in the home, will need to be indoor cats (although they would both benefit from a catio) and would prefer a home with no children.
It is important to note that Bert and Melissa have a medical condition that currently does not need medicating, but they are life long carriers. This means that we are looking for a very specific type of owner who will be happy to take on this gorgeous duo.
Before applying to adopt, we strongly advise contacting the Cat Hub Rehoming Co-ordinator to fully discuss Bert and Melissa’s needs. She can be reached at sophie.moran-barker@rspca.org.uk
